Territory is a recurring theme in my visual experiments. In Territory A, two main patterns slowly trade space:

As cells empty, they eventually host simple lines, drawn together in a few restricted angles to form naive patterns. As cells instead fill up, they grow into organized grids of towers. When they reach their highest possible value, they attempt to link to each and often devolve into a different form of chaos.

These sketches are animated deterministically from the current time. Their composition is unique at any point in time. You can press the space bar to pause the viewer, and again to return it to the current time.

Territory A is *entirely* responsive. Note that aspect ratios that are very far from a square can be taxing on your hardware, as there's much more cells being drawn.
