An incorrectly placed decimal point led to this pattern. A good friend told me it reminded them of protein structures, I found them to look like animal pelts strewn about.

Each "protein" is made up of 100 pelts, random walking around the canvas from the center. Each "pelt" is made of 5 colors sampled from an array of 84 colors.
