The theme of my work is the "朦朧体" (mōrō-tai) expression of Japanese painting, and I aimed to update this expression through Generative Art, while combining it with the geometric expressions I have used in the past.
Mountains are often used as motifs in "朦朧体", but by arranging inorganic forms within organic forms as an expression that did not surface at the time this expression was used, I expressed a landscape in which natural and man-made objects are blended together.

本作は日本画の表現手法である朦朧体を、これまでに制作で使用してきた幾何学的な配置を用いたGenerative Artを使ってアップデートすることを目指して制作しました。
朦朧体のモチーフには山が用いられることが多いですが、この表現が使われた当時には表出しなかった表現として有機的な形の中に無機的な形を配することで、自然物と人工物が混ざり合う景色を表現しました。
