Emoji is the word for visual language, a way to express emotion without words.
From its humble origins as a Japanese emoticon in the mid-1990s, they exploded in popularity when appeared as a critical part of Apple's iPhone launch in 2007. The internationalization of emoji is an inexorable force, and today it is almost impossible to send a message without using one.
Emojis evolved as a way to communicate quickly and easily, and now they will evolve one more time and become an NFT generative art reborn as (fx)moji where basic geometric forms create a new full set of emojis expressions.
