The mechanics of Digital Surface are inspired by nature and the aesthetics by pixels. Digital Surface is an attempt to find an autonomous visual logic for a digital world made by machines.
The image is created one pixel after another, calculating the proceeding pixel based on the previous generations.
The color palettes are influenced by colors occurring in nature mixed with artificial man made colors that we see more today, aiming to look for new combinations that are pleasant to humans and natively digital.

Render time can be long, but it has been optimized from the first series and runs on average 3 times faster. Once the image is completed, press "s" to save in a small size, "m" in a medium, "l" in a large, "x" in a xlarge and "w" to save with the size of the window.

Digital Surface is a 5 series project. Each Series is released singularly, the fourth being Digital Surface 4. The main differentiations for series 4 are that each image contains 7 colors (accent colors and neutrals) and the pixel size is larger compared to the first 3 series.
This is Francesco Forcellini Studio's first NFT project broadening their field of work from physical to digital.
