Minted on June 6, 2022 at 00:00Celestial Objects is a generative collection imagining planets and stars in the space, with light and shadows being key themes.
The artwork is primarily rendered using hundreds of thousands of points (more than a million in some cases) to create different aspects of the output including the sky textures, shooting stars and shadows on the planets.
Celestial Objects is coded in p5.js, and please note that it takes 5-15 seconds for each output to render.
Controls (in live view):
Press [2] to render 2000x2000px image
Press [4] to render 4000x4000px image
Press [s] to save the current view (default window size or 2000px or 4000px image)
