Linguistic is an abstract geometric artwork that explores geometric figures in a minimal way. The power in this work comes essentially from texture, color, form, and a vectorized painting with thin lines. These painted lines bring an idea of visual communication, an invitation to see words as symbols, to think of the many different alphabets and ways of sharing thoughts. From prehistoric cave paintings to Nazca lines, from Devanagari to Arabic. Or just the unconsciously feeling transmitted by art.
This is a tribute to the 100 years of Brasil’s modern art week from 1922.
