Terraforming Surfaces draws an evolving tapestry inspired by imagery of martian landscapes created by the many space probes we have sent to space.

Color information is sampled from photos of physical artworks created over the last 1500 years. Source images for each token in this series were selected at build time from a database of over 100k artworks.

Two sets of artworks were selected for [TS-002]. They were selected by finding artworks with light or dark colors, before random selection.

There are light and dark color schemes. Sometimes they are mixed together and occasionally imagery with more vivid colors is sampled.
