‘Skravert’ - Norwegian, verb, past tense. ‘The act of filling an area with lines; to shade an area’.

Skravert is a series of 320 sketches, each capturing the texture and feel of a material residing somewhere between cardboard and woolen rugs. The project is centred around rectangle subdivision and a line drawing algorithm, giving each piece its own unique expression when combined with a selection of 28 different color palettes.
