I find it interesting lately to experiment with mediums of different materiality, historicity and aesthetics, mixing them together.

In this work, I took a hand-drawn sketch as a basis, transformed it with a neural network, and randomized the mutating space station modules using code.
The result is a series of semi-living objects, a techno-bestiary similar to those from Miyazaki's "Howl's Moving Castle". Revived aircrafts combine steampunk aesthetics, the romance of utopia from the movie "Silent Running" and warm lamp watercolor technique.

The gluing of contexts creates hybrids that may one day inhabit the space drawn by someone.
