Project #31480
Animated
This project is part of a series inspired by the history of ascii art. The relationship between text and image is multi-layered. Like many, I use code to generate imagery, but it is not drawn not to an html canvas. Instead, it is written to an html <pre> element using slashes, backslashes, and underscores. Sometimes the three-dimensional objects represented are words. Sometimes they are forms without names. The way language organizes and makes sensible space and physical reality is central in these works.
