Pegs In Motion adds a twist to the original PEGS project by adding animation, rotating the pegs to make the string loop around the grid and bring the artwork alive. Forever limited to 500 unique editions on the Tezos blockchain.

Taking inspiration from work by Karl Gerstner, Armin Hofmann, Nick Kuder and Dmitri Cherniak, Pegs In Motion explores the limits of constrained algorithmic variation. Based on the simple, playful idea of wrapping a string across a board of pegs, it shows how endless possibilities can be achieved with just a basic set of rules and a few primary colors. When done right, generative art challenges us to answer fundamental questions around creativity, beauty, and life itself.
