This piece can be thought as a reflection on the paths we follow while finding our way through life.

Some of us explore more paths, others, less. Often, we find ourselves where we had been before, and we have to start again. Sometimes we take bold steps, sometimes less bold ones. Some paths are filled with love, others, with blues.
We grow up, and we broaden our paths, or narrow them.

Or, you can think of this piece as just a bunch of lines, grown progressively using a process similar to Substrate (Jared Tarbell, 2003), modified with a vector field generated with trigonometric functions.

Random features include the color palette, the number of lines, their width, the scaling of the vector field, and margins.

Some color palettes were inspired by the beautiful plotter works of Iskra Velitchkova.
