Count examines the tension between the finite and the infinite through sequential typographic representation. Each edition manifests its numerical position within a theoretically unbounded progression.

This collection is intended to be “long-tail” generative art, intentionally subverting traditional long-form constraints of collection size and closing date, existing as a continuously-expanding collection designed to hopefully persist even beyond my own lifetime.
Count raises questions about authorship, art as a persistent entity, and the relationship between creator and community.

There is a 1% chance to have the type filled with a second color, introducing scarcity within abundance.
