5 TEZ256/256 minted
Project #8697
A "Cellular Skyscraper" originates from a 15x15 grid with 15x3 cells randomly assigned the 'alive' state. According to the cellular automaton rule chosen from the transaction hash 24 new generations are calculated and placed on top of each other.
There are four different rules available (listed in Golly notation) all based on the Moore neighbourhood:
B3/S23 (Game of Life)
B36/S125 (2x2)
B368/S245 (Morley)
B3/S234 (didn't find a name for it but produces interesting large structures)
After all generations have been calculated the algorithm searches through the complete 3D grid to find the one structure consisting of the most connected alive cells - cells are connected when they have at least one alive neighbour in any of the three axis.
Features are cell count, height, highlight color, ca rule and antenna count.
Extra: press 'd' to download the structure as a .gltf file to import into Blender or other software.
Enjoy!
