Automaton I and Automaton II began life as the sleeve artwork for a concept LP about automata - self propelling machines, puppets and models that were once the heralds of a bright, technological future. Referencing retro-futurism, VHS idents and 70s pulp sci-fi covers, these generative pieces evoke mysterious, immersive spaces, using simple geometry and a random walking algorithm.
