Project #3570
Human feature detection theory proposes that the human nervous system sorts and
filters incoming stimuli to allow a human to make sense of visual information,
though it might be just random visual appearances.
This series takes inspiration from the psychological Rorschachtest introduced
by Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. Each token features a generative system
which tries to achieve such a cognitive stimulus to elicit Pareidolia or
clustering illusions.
The underlying algorithm uses an autonomous agent to create initial paint
strokes. The resultant pattern is used to perform a reaction diffusion
simulation controlled by four different noise functions.
