In recent years and months, some events have been incorporating digital assets with the aim to attract new audiences and provide added value.

Now, with blockchain technology, NFTs have the ability to enhance the customer experience in a way we haven't seen before, we now have the ability to deliver value for both the artist and attendees, creating a whole new motivation for taking part in the event.

One example of this is Alessio Devecchi, which features his art in collab with others at different events, later going on auction in certain scenarios.

Every piece auctioned at SuperRare has been done previously to the song created previously to the event, that way creating the perfect harmony and atmosphere for the attendees and of course, the final collector of the NFT.

Providing substantial value without interfering with the user experience since maybe few know the visuals are NFTs and nor should they know if not interested, but this mechanic offers many gateways for the event, the artists, and its participants to get the most out of the experience, and most importantly, paying the fair share to the creative minds while including and benefitting the community as a whole.

# Immortalize the Moment

With experiences, consumers often buy certain items in order to attach them emotionally to the activity that is being done. This is why there is a clear market for souvenirs, and digital assets may be just slowly but surely moving in that direction also.

POAPs are digital mementos, minted in celebration of a certain moment or event. Basically a gift from an issuer to collectors, in celebration of a special shared memory. By minting these memories to the blockchain, collectors build a rich tapestry of tokenized experiences that unlock a world of possibilities for the people that shared that moment or event.

Now with the blockchain, you can keep a record of the events and experiences you have undertaken, preserving it in the easiest way possible and automatically verifying it. There has literally never been an easier time to store value than now, we just need to implement it.

# Tangible Progress

Within the community, many events have happened recently, these include @prooofofpeople where physical attendance was mandatory for attendees to claim their generative NFT, which could be kept, sold, or transferred by the owners.

This event was among the first to implement on-site minting and according to the community, the experience did not leave anything to be desired.

The initiative allowed for the creation of a profound link between artists and collectors, resulting in a deeper appreciation and value increment of the piece, since now it is held into an experience in and of itself.

We have yet to see the outcome but if I were to guess, secondary activity is bound to have a different play of events compared to regular drops, since few flippers/bots will be able to get their hands into an edition, while bonds between every party attending will grow stronger, consequently, increasing its appreciation for the art and artist.

# Moving Forward

As we have shared, there are multiple ways to implement NFTs technology to enhance physical experiences, but we are still well away from implementing the resource into the mainstream industry yet.

We are experiencing a blue ocean market where not much has been explored yet, and few competition exists, nonetheless, our guess is that people are starting to realize the potential this initiative has and are quickly going to catch up within niche communities like ours.
