About GEN XYZ DAS OCCULT
Inspired by viral marketing campaigns such as I Love Bees, @Todd McCullough aka culla's project GEN XYZ DAS OCCULT is a continuation of the world building that Culla started with his self-published comic books. GENXYZ DAS OCCULT will be the collection that he uses as a jumping off point for future world building and treasure hunting that he hopes to entertain his collectors with in the near future.
With 10,000 editions available, dope AF palettes to discover during minting, and resulting artwork that truly embodies Culla’s own artistic aesthetic, I can honestly say that the artist absolutely nailed it.

Challenges?
Created with 100% code and a fully generative art collection, one of Culla’s main challenges as a self-professed non-coder during the creation of this project was an internal one: the fear that his project would “NOT” be considered “generative enough.”
Besides this fear of judgment (something we can all relate to), the other major challenge faced was beginning the project. Like anything, it takes baby steps and an iterative process of improvement before progress is noticeable. While his code may not be particularly elegant, it succeeds at what it’s trying to do and that’s what matters more than anything.
Another challenge was a relatively last minute change that involved Culla creating a few necessary letters of the alphabet in vector - essentially creating his own font - for the project. He plans to finish coding the rest of his font as well.
