Instead ink, brush, and rice paper, rectangles, p5js and screen, explores not code realism, but code-ism composition and form. Each landscape is performed, unknowing the exact, as is chinese landscape painting, the painter, paints his or her fictional landscape. Here my code and the hash paints each landscape with a constrained brush, that is rectangles.&#x20;

I am sorry “life has no scores” will not be my final drop just yet. Precisely since life has no fixed scores to follow. In preparation for my solo ink show in march, I look towards generative art to give me inspiration. Instead of code imitating brush, my brush and mind aims to discover my own fictional landscapes through code and hashes.&#x20;

In this project, I aim to discover inspiration for my own ink work. 山水, literally is mountain and water, that is landscape painting. As most Chinese landscape paintings are fictional landscape, mountains and waters are just literally and figuratively ink or no ink or some ink. 

I can’t seem to find either you or I in these tastes or them cooks.
